CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE MY ORDER?
We accept returns and exchanges only in the case of a production error or an issue caused by us. Since our jewelry is personalized and made-to-order, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for any other reason. Please double-check your personalization details before placing the order. If there’s any issue, please contact us right away, and we will do our best to resolve it.
WHY CAN’T I RETURN A PERSONALIZED ITEM?
Personalized jewelry is custom-made specifically for you, which makes it one-of-a-kind and non-resalable. However, if there is an error on our part, we’ll be more than happy to replace or fix the item at no extra cost.
CAN I RETURN AN ITEM IF THE ISSUE IS NOT CAUSED BY YOU?
If the issue is not caused by us and you still wish to return the item, we can process a refund after deducting 50% of the amount you paid as a restocking fee and shipping cost. This policy ensures we can cover the cost of production and processing for all items.
HOW CAN I TAKE CARE OF MY JEWELRY?
To ensure your jewelry stays in the best condition:
- Remove your jewelry while sleeping, swimming, or doing activities at the beach or spa.
- Avoid contact with perfumes, body oils, and harsh chemicals.
- Clean gently with a soft, dry, and lint-free cloth.
- Store in a cool, dry place, preferably in a pouch or box.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GOLD-PLATED AND SOLID GOLD JEWELRY?
Gold-Plated Jewelry: Made with 925 sterling silver coated in 14k gold. Durable, affordable, and most pieces come with a 1-inch extender for adjustable length.
14k Solid Gold Jewelry: Made entirely of solid 14k gold, offering premium quality and long-lasting wear in any environment. Typically made to standard lengths without extenders.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I ENTER THE WRONG SHIPPING ADDRESS?
Please contact us as soon as possible if you notice an error in the shipping address. If the order hasn’t been shipped yet, we’ll update it for you.

WHAT IS THE TRANSIT TIME FOR AN ORDER ONCE IT IS SHIPPED? (DOMESTIC)
- USPS First Class: 2-6 business days.
- USPS Priority Mail: 1-3 business days.
- USPS Priority Mail Express: 1-2 business days.
Please understand that these are estimates, as we are not able to guarantee an exact arrival date.
SHIPPED TO THE INCORRECT ADDRESS
Please note that BC Jewelry NYC will not be held responsible for an incorrect address provided by the customer at checkout. We are able to accommodate corrections if they are caught by the customer before the order ships.
If your item is shipped to the wrong address, we find that these packages are often returned to sender. If this is the case with your order, we will contact you once the item gets returned to us. You will then be responsible for the cost of shipping the item to the correct address. (Typically $5-10 for domestic shipments, and prices vary for international shipping.)
IF I NO LONGER WANT TO WAIT ON MY INTERNATIONAL ORDER TO ARRIVE, CAN I GET A REFUND?
We completely understand that you'd like your international order as soon as possible. We strongly recommend purchasing either USPS Priority Mail International (6-10 business days) or USPS Priority Mail Express International (the fastest international shipping option available). Both of these shipping methods are insured by USPS.
While we never want to disappoint our customers, we are not able to issue a refund once your order ships from our studio.
